My Story – A Journey Toward Healing and Balance
My path to acupuncture and Chinese medicine began long before I realised it. In my younger years, I witnessed the profound impact that physical and emotional health have on one another — how the body can change when the mind and spirit are under strain, and how healing requires more than just treating the surface of things.
These early experiences quietly shaped my curiosity about the body’s ability to recover, adapt, and heal. I became deeply interested in what helps people move through pain, trauma, and imbalance — and what allows them to truly thrive again. That curiosity eventually guided me toward Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), where I discovered a philosophy that resonated deeply with how I already saw the world.
Through my studies, I came to understand that the body is not a collection of separate parts, but an intelligent, interconnected system. Every aspect of our health — physical, mental, and emotional — influences the others. This understanding felt like coming home.
I went on to complete a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) – with Distinction at Endeavour College in Perth and have spent over six years refining my skills in acupuncture, Chinese massage, and adjunct therapies such as cupping, guasha, electro-acupuncture, and moxibustion.
As my professional journey evolved, so too did my personal one. Like many, I faced challenges with fertility and balance, which deepened my empathy and shaped the way I now support others on their own paths. Experiencing how stress, emotional health, and physical vitality weave together taught me the importance of gentle consistency, self-compassion, and trust in the body’s natural timing. It also reinforced my belief in the power of acupuncture and Chinese medicine to restore harmony and support fertility in a way that feels safe, natural, and empowering.
Today, I work passionately in the areas of women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, and labour preparation, alongside helping people manage pain, sleep issues, digestion, stress, and emotional wellbeing. I believe that health is not just the absence of symptoms, but a state of connection — to oneself, to the body’s rhythms, and to life.
In every treatment, my intention is to listen — not only to what’s said, but to what the body is expressing. Together, we work to identify where things have become blocked or out of sync, and to help your body return to its natural state of balance and vitality.
For me, acupuncture is more than a profession; it’s a way of being present with people in their healing process. It’s about creating a safe, warm space where change can happen gently and meaningfully.
I’m continually humbled by this medicine — ancient yet timeless — and by the resilience of the human body and spirit. Each person’s journey is unique, but the goal is always the same: to help you reconnect with your body’s wisdom and feel at home within yourself again.
